Middle East eyes MM2H

The Star reports a notable surge in Middle East interest in Malaysia My Second Home, particularly from Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar. Anthony Liew, President of the MM2H Consultants Association, attributes the trend to Malaysia's strong halal ecosystem, English fluency, world-class private healthcare and the new four-tier programme structure that gives Gulf applicants a clearer entry path.
Anthony notes that Gulf enquiries now rival Mainland Chinese volumes for the first time in MM2H's history. He expects further growth once SEZ/SFZ Johor operational details are published — Johor's proximity to Singapore is particularly attractive to Middle Eastern business owners with regional trade interests.
